About

Welcome to Coleman Custom Woodwork. I’m Tod Coleman, owner and finish carpenter for CCW. I have been a proud resident of Denville for over 25 years. After graduating from Mt. Lakes High School I earned a degree in History from Syracuse University as well as being a member of the SU lacrosse team. Almost 30 years in the construction industry has provided me with a wealth of experience and knowledge. Over 20 of those years have been focused on finish carpentry. In 2012 I started Coleman Custom Woodwork to concentrate on finish woodwork specializing in; built-ins, bookcases/libraries, mantels, trim work, radiator covers, barn doors, and reclaimed lumber projects. Unconventional and off-the-beaten-path projects are always welcome and I enjoy seeing what my clients dream up. My goal is to build distinctive and attractive projects and spaces that will last for years. 100 years from now I hope someone will look at a CCW project and say, “They don’t build ‘em like that anymore.”
